John simpson -My Hero

John Simpson -My Hero

Greetings to you all! I am reporting here in Gallipoli,Turkey and  I will be talking to you about the historical and tremendous John Simpson. He was killed on the morning of 19th May. He was a Stretcher Bearer Medial Corps.

He was calm under fire and did not hesitate to perform his duties. He died while returning down the Monash Valley with a wounded soldier. He also gave his life so others could live.

With the  assistance of his donkey, Duffy, who was  treated like a friend and companion John Simpson was able to do up to 12 trips a day. He would often start his duties at sunrise and finish late  at night.

I truly believe that John Simpson is my hero and role model. Rest In Peace John Simpson.- " No limit soldier." Quote by anonymous. Stay strong everyone.
